Ultimate Summer Cheese Burger with Yarden Wines
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 Yarden Wines - Living The Gourmet bottles
Instructions:
Set your grill's temperature to medium-high
Create four equal portions out of the ground beef, then shape them into burger patties
On both sides, add salt and pepper for seasoning
When the bacon slices are crispy, place them on the grill
Take out and let dry on paper towels
For medium-rare, grill the burger patties for about 45 minutes on each side, or longer if preferred
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty in the final minute of cooking, then cover the grill to melt the cheese
Brush the hamburger buns with olive oil and toast them on the grill until they get a light brown color while the burgers cook
To make burger sauce, combine mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise in a small bowl
Spread the burger sauce over the toasted buns and assemble the ultimate summertime cheeseburger
The cooked burger patty with melted cheese should be placed on the bottom bun, followed by a leaf of lettuce
Add tomato slices, red onion rings, and crispy bacon slices on top
Put the top bun last
For the ultimate summer dining experience, serve the burgers hot with a side of Yarden Wines - Living The Gourmet!
