Chocolate Cream Puffs Closeup



Indulge in the rich and delightful Chocolate Cream Puffs Closeup. These decadent cream puffs are filled with silky whipped cream and topped with a luscious chocolate ganache. Perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

Set the oven temperature to 400F 200C

Bring the butter and water to a boil in a saucepan

Stir continuously until the mixture forms a ball after adding the flour and cocoa powder

Take it off the stove and give it some time to cool

One egg at a time, adding and thoroughly mixing after each addition

Forming tiny mounds, spoon the dough onto a baking sheet

Puffs should be baked for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden and puffy

Heat the cream until it's hot but not boiling to make the chocolate ganache while the puffs cool

Stir until smooth after pouring hot cream over chocolate chips and letting it sit for a minute

Pour in the vanilla extract and a small pinch of salt, then allow the ganache to come to room temperature

Split the cream puffs in half lengthwise and stuff each half with whipped cream

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with the chocolate ganache
