Simple Sesame Noodles
These simple sesame noodles are packed with protein from whole wheat noodles and edamame. The creamy tahini sauce adds richness while the sesame seeds provide a crunchy texture. Perfect for a quick and satisfying vegan meal!
Ingredients:
- 200g whole wheat noodles
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 cup edamame, cooked
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the noodles until they are al dente
To make the sauce, mix ginger, soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and tahini in a small bowl with a whisk
Add the sauce to the cooked noodles and toss them around until they are well covered
Add the cooked edamame and sliced green onions slowly
Toast some sesame seeds and sprinkle them on top
